This Is Not a Normal Event Footprint

Flying Pig Marathon Weekend is one of Cincinnati's largest recurring events, bringing runners, families, spectators, sponsors and vendors into the city across several days of races, expo activity and celebrations. In 2026, the weekend set a record with 45,197 registered participants across its events.

Flying Pig Weekend is spread across multiple races, start and finish areas, spectator zones, downtown streets and neighborhoods on both sides of the river. The full marathon itself runs through Cincinnati, Covington and Newport before continuing through additional communities.

That creates enormous audience value, but it also creates road closures, restricted crossings and changing access. So the smartest pedicab program is not built around pretending we can ride straight through the race course. It is built around the places people gather before, after and around it.

In other words: big crowd, great opportunity, respect the barricades.

The Expo Is a Very Good Place to Start

The P&G Health and Fitness Expo is a major part of the weekend and takes place at First Financial Center. Runners and participants pass through for packet pickup while local and national vendors, sponsors and fitness brands are already competing for attention.

That creates a natural fit for branded pedicabs, sponsored transportation, sampling and ambassador programs around the convention district and nearby hotels. Instead of trying to wedge another message into the expo hall, the campaign can extend outside it and follow participants into the city.

There are only so many free tote bags one person can emotionally process in a weekend.

Branded Pedicabs Around the Weekend

Cincinnati Pedicab can deploy up to 20 branded pedicabs for larger campaigns. The fleet can create street-level visibility around hotels, expo activity, restaurants, celebration areas and other parts of the weekend where pedicab access is practical.

The vehicles can operate as mobile media, rider transportation or both. Sampling, promotional distribution, ambassador support, QR or offer integration and route tracking can be layered in when the campaign needs more than branding alone.

We do not need to ride down the marathon course to be part of marathon weekend. Frankly, the runners have that covered.

Sponsored Rides for the People Not Currently Running 26.2 Miles

The runners have chosen their fate. Spectators, family members, sponsors, volunteers and hospitality guests may still appreciate a ride.

Sponsored pedicab programs can help move people around the broader event environment while giving a brand a useful role in the weekend. Programs can be designed around hotels, expo activity, hospitality locations or other accessible areas outside restricted race zones.

A free ride is particularly compelling when the person receiving it has spent the morning watching other people exercise.

Sampling + Ambassador Programs

Flying Pig Weekend already attracts health, fitness, food, beverage, wellness and consumer brands, making it a natural environment for product sampling and direct engagement.

Cincinnati Pedicab can support promotional distribution and ambassador-style activations alongside branded vehicles. Samples, promotional items, offers and QR engagement can be added where appropriate, creating a campaign that moves through the city instead of staying confined to a booth or table.

If your product is designed for people who move, this is a weekend with unusually strong quality control on the audience.

How to Ride

Just Trying to Catch a Ride?

Public street rides may be available around the broader weekend environment, subject to race closures, restricted crossings and where the fleet can actually operate.

We do not promise guaranteed individual pickups at exact times through this page. If you see a Cincinnati Pedicab working nearby, ask the driver where they can take you and confirm the price before the ride begins.

Be Part of the Weekend Without Blocking the Course

Tell us the brand, the audience and which part of the weekend matters most — expo, hotels, spectator zones or hospitality. We can build the pedicab piece around the streets that are actually open.

The runners handle 26.2 miles. We will handle the blocks nobody signed up for.
