Put Your Brand in the Middle of It

If the activation plan begins and ends with a folding table and a bowl of branded lip balm, we can probably do better.

Do More Than Show Up

Big Cincinnati events create the kind of crowd advertisers spend all year trying to find: concentrated, energized, moving on foot and already looking for something to do next. Cincinnati Pedicab helps brands get into that environment with branded pedicabs, sponsored rides, sampling, ambassadors and street-level activations built around the event instead of awkwardly parked beside it.

An event activation should give people a reason to interact with the brand. Pedicabs make that easier because the vehicle already has a job: move people through crowded districts. The campaign can layer onto something useful instead of inventing a reason for somebody to stop and participate.

That might mean a branded fleet circulating around the event, free sponsored rides, a dedicated transportation loop, product sampling, promotional distribution, QR engagement or ambassadors working alongside the cabs. The exact mix depends on what the brand is trying to accomplish and where the audience will actually be.

Useful first. Branded second. Memorable because it managed to be both.

Build the Activation Around the Crowd

Cincinnati's major event weekends create very different operating environments. A Bengals crowd does not move like Oktoberfest. A convention crowd does not behave like a concert crowd. FC Cincinnati, Reds games, festivals and downtown celebrations each create their own pedestrian flow, timing and pressure points.

We build the pedicab piece around that reality. Fleet size, operating area, ride model, staffing and engagement can be shaped around the event instead of forcing every campaign into the same template.

Which is useful, because crowds are famously bad at reading marketing plans.

Branded Pedicabs That Keep Moving

A branded pedicab can circulate through event districts, stage near high-traffic areas, carry riders and keep the campaign visible as the crowd moves. For larger programs, Cincinnati Pedicab can deploy up to 20 pedicabs, creating anything from a focused street-level presence to a fleet that begins to look suspiciously like the brand bought the neighborhood.

The vehicle branding can also connect to a larger activation with sponsored rides, sampling, ambassador engagement and promotional offers. The cab becomes the moving anchor instead of one more static piece of event signage.

Sponsored Rides Give People a Reason to Care

One of the strongest event activation mechanics is also one of the least complicated: pay for somebody's ride.

A brand-funded pedicab program can give guests a useful experience while keeping the campaign visible throughout the interaction. Riders get where they are going. The brand gets an actual moment with them. Nobody has to spin a prize wheel to win a foam keychain.

Sponsored rides can operate as general event-area transportation or as a more controlled dedicated program tied to a route, hospitality objective or defined audience.

Sampling + Promotional Distribution

Cincinnati Pedicab can support product sampling, promotional distribution and ambassador-style activation work alongside the fleet. That can be especially useful for food, beverage, consumer-product and event-driven campaigns where the goal is to put something physical into the audience's hands instead of merely asking them to admire the logo.

Drivers and ambassadors can support the interaction while the branded cabs create visibility around it. QR codes, offers and other response mechanisms can be added where they make sense.

We are very pro-engagement. We are less enthusiastic about handing somebody a QR code for no apparent reason and calling it a strategy.

Conventions Count as Events Too

Exhibitor activations

A convention may involve fewer face-painted strangers than a football game, but commercially it can be even better. Attendees repeat the same short trips for several days, exhibitors are actively competing for attention and sponsors already understand the value of owning part of the attendee experience.

Pedicab activations can extend an exhibitor or sponsor beyond the convention floor with branded rides, sampling, hotel transportation, ambassador programs and dedicated loops around Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky convention activity.

And unlike the branded tote bag, the pedicab is unlikely to spend the next three years living under somebody's kitchen sink.

Cincinnati + Northern Kentucky

Cincinnati

  • Downtown
  • The riverfront
  • Over-the-Rhine
  • Entertainment districts

Northern Kentucky

  • Covington
  • Newport
  • NKY Convention Center
  • Convention and event activity

Event activation opportunities can extend across central Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, including downtown Cincinnati, the riverfront, Over-the-Rhine, Covington and Newport. That gives campaigns room to follow the audience across hotels, entertainment districts, convention activity and the places where the actual post-event decisions get made.

The operating plan still depends on the specific event footprint, closures and access conditions. We would rather design around the real street environment than make heroic promises from behind a laptop.

Track the Campaign While It Moves

Cincinnati Pedicab can track campaign routes so brands and agencies have a record of where the fleet operated. Route data can support post-campaign reporting and help document how the activation moved through the intended event environment.

It will not tell us whether every pedestrian went home and immediately changed brands. It will tell us where the campaign actually went, which is a useful place to begin.

Need the Idea
in More Than
One City?

Cincinnati Pedicab handles the local activation. If the assignment expands into multiple markets, regional event programs or a broader agency rollout, Move Mobile Media provides the larger platform behind it.

Start with Cincinnati. Scale when the idea earns it.

Give the Crowd Something Better to Do Than Ignore You

Tell us the event, the audience and what you want the brand to accomplish. We can build the pedicab component around the crowd with branded vehicles, sponsored rides, sampling, ambassadors, dedicated programs and tracked routes.

Put the campaign where the people are. Then give them a reason to like it.
