Plan Convention TransportationA New Convention Center. A Much Bigger Street-Level Opportunity.
Cincinnati's convention business now has a newly reimagined home at First Financial Center, surrounded by downtown hotels, restaurants, parking, nightlife and the new Elm Street Plaza. For exhibitors, sponsors, planners and hospitality teams, that means the convention experience does not begin and end at the exhibit hall doors.
First Financial Center reopened in January 2026 after a $264 million transformation, with renovated exhibit halls, meeting rooms and ballrooms, a rooftop terrace and direct access to the new Elm Street Plaza. The surrounding convention district is also being built around a future 700-room Marriott headquarters hotel connected by skybridge.
That investment matters to Cincinnati Pedicab because larger conventions mean more attendees moving between the center, hotels, dinners, receptions and downtown attractions. A compact convention district is convenient. It is also a very good environment for short-distance transportation and mobile media.
The meeting planner gets a better attendee experience. The advertiser gets more street-level visibility. The attendee gets to stop pretending six blocks in dress shoes is nothing.

Convention Advertising That Leaves the Booth
Trade shows and conventions are crowded advertising environments. Booths, banners, screens, tote bags, lanyards and sponsored coffee are all fighting for the same set of eyeballs. Branded pedicabs create another layer of visibility outside the hall, where there is considerably less visual competition and where attendees are already moving through the district.
For larger programs, Cincinnati Pedicab can deploy up to 20 branded pedicabs. The fleet can operate as moving street-level media, sponsored transportation or both. Sampling, promotional distribution, ambassador support, QR or offer integration and route tracking can be added when the campaign needs more than vehicle branding alone.
Your exhibit space may be ten-by-ten. The city is larger.

Sponsored Rides: Make the Brand Useful
A sponsored ride puts the advertiser into a very simple exchange: the brand helps the attendee get where they are going. The pedicab carries the campaign, the rider gets a break from the walk and the sponsor becomes part of the convention experience instead of another logo in the exhibit hall.
Programs can be designed around the convention center, nearby hotels, hospitality events or defined operating areas depending on street access and the event schedule. They can support attendees, VIPs, invited guests or a broader sponsor-funded ride program.
Nobody has ever complained that the free ride back to the hotel lacked enough corporate messaging.
Convention + Conference Transportation
Cincinnati Pedicab can also support organized attendee, VIP and hospitality transportation when the need is operational rather than promotional. That might mean moving a group between a hotel and dinner, circulating guests during a reception window or handling the short downtown leg that does not justify a motor coach.
For corporate and organized group programs, we generally focus on groups of 20 or more. The fleet can move guests in waves, support a defined service window or be incorporated into a larger transportation plan.
The goal is not to replace every bus, shuttle or rideshare. It is to handle the trips where those options are clumsy, excessive or somehow require a fifteen-message text thread to accomplish.
The District Is Walkable. That Does Not Mean Everyone Wants to Walk It.
First Financial Center sits within a compact downtown convention district, with thousands of hotel rooms and parking spaces within a fifteen-minute walk. That walkability is one of Cincinnati's strengths, but conventions create repeated trips: hotel to center, center to lunch, reception to dinner, dinner to hospitality, and eventually back to the hotel after everybody has spent all day on their feet.
Pedicabs fit neatly into those short urban gaps. They are flexible enough for a small wave of guests, visible enough to support a sponsor, and considerably easier to deploy than a full-size shuttle when the trip is measured in blocks instead of miles.
Walkable and rideable can coexist.

Elm Street Plaza + Outdoor Activations
The new Elm Street Plaza adds two acres of outdoor convention and event space beside First Financial Center. That creates additional opportunities for receptions, brand activations, food and beverage programs and outdoor attendee engagement around the convention district.
Where event rules and street access permit, pedicabs can extend that activation into the surrounding streets with branded circulation, rides, sampling and ambassador support. The plaza can be the anchor. The campaign does not have to stay parked there.

- Convention and event activity
Convention visitors do not necessarily stay on one side of the Ohio River. Cincinnati Pedicab operates across central Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, including Covington, Newport and the Northern Kentucky Convention Center, which allows larger programs to account for hotels, hospitality and event activity on both sides of the river where practical.
For national agencies or programs that extend beyond the Cincinnati market, Cincinnati Pedicab can also connect into the broader Move Mobile Media platform rather than forcing a local site to pretend it is a national network.
Track the Campaign While It Moves
For branded and sponsored programs, Cincinnati Pedicab can track routes so advertisers and agencies have a record of where the fleet operated during the campaign. Route data can support post-campaign reporting and document how the vehicles moved through the intended convention environment.
It will not tell us whether the attendee who accepted the ride later became a qualified lead. Your sales team still has to do something.
Where to Next
Build Around the Convention, Not Just the Booth
Tell us the convention, attendee profile, exhibitor objective, group size or hospitality plan and what you want the pedicabs to accomplish. We can help determine whether the right answer is branded media, sponsored rides, organized transportation, sampling, an outdoor activation or some combination of the above.
The convention center handles the meeting. We will handle the part where everybody leaves it.
