A Food Festival Is Already an Activation

Taste of Cincinnati takes over downtown every Memorial Day weekend with restaurants, food trucks, beverage brands, music, sponsors and one of the largest pedestrian crowds on the city calendar. The event has drawn more than 566,000 attendees in a single weekend and continues to attract well over half a million people on average.

Taste of Cincinnati is built around discovery. People are sampling food, trying drinks, comparing favorites, wandering between vendors and making highly confident promises that they are definitely done eating this time.

That makes it a natural environment for brands that want interaction instead of passive exposure. Branded pedicabs, sponsored rides, product sampling, promotional distribution and ambassador programs can all fit into the larger festival weekend when the campaign is designed around the actual crowd flow.

The audience is already in sampling mode. We consider that a useful head start.

Branded Pedicabs in a Very Busy Downtown

For larger programs, Cincinnati Pedicab can deploy up to 20 branded pedicabs. The fleet can create repeated visibility around downtown streets, hotel corridors, parking areas and surrounding festival activity where access allows.

The vehicles can work as moving street-level media, rider transportation or both. QR or offer integration, sampling, ambassadors and route tracking can be added when the campaign needs more than a logo moving past somebody holding a taco.

One branded cab gets noticed. A fleet at a festival this crowded starts feeling like part of the weekend.

Sampling + Ambassador Programs

Taste is one of the most obvious sampling environments on the Cincinnati calendar. Food and beverage brands, consumer products and lifestyle advertisers can use pedicabs and ambassadors together to create a campaign that moves through the event instead of staying attached to one booth or activation footprint.

Cincinnati Pedicab can support promotional product distribution, product sampling, offers, QR engagement and ambassador-style interaction alongside branded vehicles. The exact program should fit the product, the audience and the event rules rather than forcing every brand into the same little branded tent.

If your product tastes good, smells good or solves a problem somebody currently has, this is not a terrible place to introduce it.

Sponsored Rides: Give Their Feet a Break

Taste of Cincinnati covers several downtown blocks, and visitors spend a lot of the weekend moving between food, music, parking, hotels and the rest of downtown. Sponsored rides can give a brand a useful role in that experience while extending the campaign beyond the festival footprint itself.

The advertiser funds the transportation, the pedicab carries the campaign and the rider gets a break before deciding that yes, they probably do have room for dessert.

Programs can be designed around accessible operating areas, hospitality objectives or dedicated ride patterns depending on street closures and event conditions.

Corporate + Hospitality Transportation

Taste weekend can also support client entertainment, employee outings and hosted groups. For organized corporate groups of 20 or more, Cincinnati Pedicab can help move guests between nearby hotels, restaurants, hospitality locations and the broader festival environment.

The fleet can move guests in waves, support a defined transportation window or handle the short urban part of a larger plan where a bus is excessive and walking everybody through a packed food festival feels optimistic.

Your clients can focus on the menu. Somebody else can think about the next six blocks.
